Uno
Uno is a great game for 3 or more people. Be the first to play all your cards, but don't forget to yell Uno. Uno is a great way to help kids with numbers and colors.
Most the time Uno is a quick game but from time to time it can take awhile. When I was in High School a bunch of us in band played an Uno game that lasted over an hour.
