My Crazy, Fun Life: CRAZY SNOW WEEKEND

This weekend was snow much fun. We loaded up the cars are were on the freeway by 3:45! Shortly after being in the car Jeff tells me their is a good chance we could get snowed in at camp, and will have a stay an extra day or two. We got to the camp road in an hour and a half, best time yet. What took the most time was waiting at the bottom of the camp hill for 3 buses, a fire truck and ambulance to back down. I was in the van with the girls who freaked out when we got a little stuck. The boys van thought it was cool that they drove sideways for a second. Once we arrived at camp we see that it is very dark, NO POWER! It is hard to unload and find a cabin in the dark but we did it, we did have a heater unlike the boys. The power did not come back on until Saturday at lunch time, thank you Edison!
Saturday was snow much fun, we had snowball fights, rolled down snowy hills, sledded, trooped in snow that came up to my knees, hung out with the kids. We all got wet and cold but had a blast. Right before dinner it started to get very windy. Saturday after dinner the lights go out again, Julianne and I go out to look for the girls that were not with us. With in 5 min the lights are back on, and we find the girls. Soon Jeff and Ross were at are door wanting to have a leader meeting. "Should we pack up and go home tonight?" The storm is coming in and we could get snowed in. After calling around and getting weather reports we decide to get packed up and be ready to leave at a moments notice. If it start snowing we are out of here. Shortly after dinner it started raining, ran is good as long as it does not turn into snow. It pored all night and into the morning. We did the morning activities and then packed up the car before lunch. When we were done it looked like another storm was coming so we got in the car to beat the storm, with out lunch. We made it home safely and had a blast.
